Cosmonautics Day
April 12 marks Cosmonautics Day in Russia - a date that signaled the beginning of a new era in human history. In 1961, Yuri Gagarin completed the first orbital flight aboard Vostok-1, opening the way for space exploration.
Space has always been a continuation of aviation -a step forward from the earliest flights toward even bolder horizons. For Domina Pulkovo, this theme is especially meaningful: we are located next to the airport, and the very idea of movement and flight is part of our everyday atmosphere.
Our connection to aviation is also reflected in the company’s history: the professional path of our General Manager is closely tied to this industry. You can notice echoes of this connection in the interior details as well - guest rooms feature artistic depictions of airplanes and helicopters, adding character and a distinct mood to the space.
On this day, we would like to wish everyone connected with aviation and space confidence in their decisions, new heights, and safe journeys - both on Earth and beyond.
