Day of National Unity
On November 4, Russia celebrates the Day of National Unity — a symbol of solidarity and the enduring strength of its people.
The holiday dates back to the 17th century, when in 1612 a people’s militia led by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from foreign invaders.
This date also coincides with the Feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, revered as the protector of the militia and the defender of Rus’.
Today, this holiday reminds us of the importance of mutual support, respect, and shared responsibility — the values that unite people across generations and times.
The long weekend is a time to be together.
Create an atmosphere of harmony, comfort, and inspiration surrounded by your loved ones.
