The 17th Weiqi Tournament for the Cup of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in St. Petersburg to be held at Domina Pulkovo
On February 22–23, Domina Pulkovo will host the 17th Weiqi Tournament for the Cup of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in St. Petersburg. Over two days, guests will enjoy competitions in several categories along with a rich cultural program.

12:00 PM – 5:00 PM - Chinese tea ceremony open to all guests.

February 22
- 1:00 PM — Master class by Vitaly Bliznetsov on traditional Chinese guohua painting.
- 3:00 PM — Master class by Tatyana Kornilyeva “Knot of Happiness” — a workshop on traditional Chinese decorative knotting.
Guests are invited to explore China’s intangible cultural heritage — the traditional art of Chinese knotting — and create their own handmade amulet symbolizing good fortune.
- 5:00 PM — Master class by Tatyana Kornilyeva “One Hundred Characters of Happiness.”
Participants will learn about the origin and various calligraphic styles of the Chinese character for “happiness” and, during the practical session, create their own custom badge featuring the character.
February 23
- 12:00 PM — Master class by Alexander Anisimov on Chinese calligraphy.
- 2:00 PM — Master class by Tatyana Kornilyeva “Lions from Red Envelopes (Hongbao).”
