Volleyball Team Lokomotiv (Kaliningrad) — Winners of the 2025 Russian Cup

During the 2025 Russian Volleyball Cup, the Lokomotiv team from Kaliningrad stayed at Domina Pulkovo Hotel, where the athletes were able to fully rest and recover between matches, focusing on preparing for each game.

Throughout the tournament, the Kaliningrad players demonstrated confident and well-coordinated play. In the group stage, the team secured a convincing 3:0 victory over Leningradka. In the semifinals, Lokomotiv faced Zarechye-Odintsovo and once again won 3:0, earning their place in the final stage of the competition.

The final match against Dinamo-Ak Bars (Kazan) became a true volleyball spectacle: the teams exchanged sets, and the outcome was decided only in the fifth. Lokomotiv showed character, determination, and an unyielding will to win, ultimately prevailing 3:2 and capturing the Russian Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
